The Benefits of Being a Rascal Mobility Scooter User

Rascal Mobility Scooters are just that. Rascal scooters are electric mobility scooters that are composed of a simple electric motor and a steel and aluminum body that connect between the seat and the handle. The electric motor of the scooter is placed underneath the seat of the vehicle for easier operation, while the steering capabilities are more handle-like, for an intuitive control rather than a small joystick on one side of the scooter.

The motor, seat, and handles are just a few Rascal Mobility Scooter parts that you can benefit from when utilizing a Rascal Mobility Scooter. Below, we`ll list more benefits of using a Rascal Mobility Scooter.

First, let`s start with the basics. You`re probably wondering about the history of Rascal mobility scooters, so here it is. Electric Mobility is the company that manufactured Rascal scooters in 1986. They were one of the leading mobility scooter manufacturers in the industry at the time. Electric Mobility saw Rascal scooters as an opportunity to offer a more unique and efficient way for people in need of mobility services to get around, as they provide a smooth ride with easier navigation tools the handles, and power operators.

Rascal scooters have since gained popularity in the electric mobility scooter industry. Much like many mobility scooters, Rascal scooters enable people to travel anywhere and do things they love without having to worry about accidents. Unlike wheelchairs, Rascal mobility electric scooters are easy to steer and move, and they get up to a speed of about four miles per hour. Due to their impressive motor, people who use Rascal scooters won't need to rely on a friend or family member to push them around or worry about fatigue happening in their arms by turning wheels to get to and from certain points.

As we said before, the handles allow users to operate with more control. The handles of a Rascal scooter are less confusing than a joystick hand control offering simplicity and ease when navigating. Users can simply sit down on their Rascal scooters and move with uncomplicated commands!

To better picture what a Rascal scooter looks like, think about scooters grocery stores and department stores offer for their customers. The scooters these stores present for clientele are similar, almost exactly, to what a Rascal scooter is. They are lightweight, rechargeable, and offer state-of-the-art features for users to navigate around their stores with ease. Most of these scooters even have carts placed directly in the front of the handles for users to hold necessary items more effortlessly than a wheelchair or regular electric mobility scooter.

These are just a few of the reasons we recommend Rascal Mobility Scooters. With a new Rascal Mobility Scooter, users can get back their freedom and go virtually anywhere without having to worry about their safety. We highly recommend any of the Rascal Electric Mobility Scooter, starting at $1,899.00, because of their great battery life, torque and comfort. Alex Vander Poel

Co-Owner & Executive Director of Operations

Marc’s Mobility was created by my father, Marc, in 1995 when I was 7 years old. I grew up around this industry from an early age — cleaning, driving, and repairing units alongside Marc. After graduating high school in 2006, I moved to Gainesville, FL to pursue a Business degree at the University of Florida. Once I graduated, I returned to Lakeland, FL to help my father grow the business into what it is today.

I’ve now been full-time in this industry for nearly 16 years as of 2026. When I first joined after college, the company was a small 3-person operation. In the beginning, my main responsibilities included inspecting, repairing, and preparing units for shipping across the U.S. Today, as the company has grown into a team of more than 10 people, I oversee all aspects of the business and work to understand every role within Marc’s Mobility.
